Botox® blocks nerve impulses to the muscles in the target areas and the muscles are temporarily relaxed. This leads to a smoother , more youthful appearance. When injected into the underarm skin, it reduces sweat production.

Side effects are uncommon and temporary-. There may be a small amount of initial swelling/redness at the injection site.When injecting close to the eye there is a very small chance (less then 1%) of developing temporary drooping of the eyelid. Many people worry about having a “frozen” face after Botox® : this is usually due to poor injection technique. We take particular care that this does not happen.
