When injected, dermal filler restores facial volume revealing a more youthful appearance. Results are visible immediately after treatment. Dermal filler generally lasts around 6-18 months, depending on the treatment type. Dermal fillers break down in the body over a period of time, with both the fillers and their effects gradually fading away.

Juvederm® is a Hyaluronic acid filler, which is the most popular and also the safest type of filler used. Hyaluronic acid is present in the skin and needed for good tissue hydration. Profhilo®
Profhilo® is particularly indicated for the treatment of skin laxity in the lower face. As we age the body’s ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases, causing an increase in skin laxity. The reduction of blood vessels also compromises the supply of nutrients to the skin causing ageing and facial lines.
Profhilo® is a new product made up of pure Hyaluronic acid with several decades of scientific research behind it. This new patented technology combines 32mg of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and 32mg of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid in a 2ml syringe of 64mg of HA. Patients can expect increased firmness, elasticity and overall improved quality of the skin with the effects lasting six months. This also depends upon the degree of correction required, patients age and lifestyle. Two treatments sessions are usually recommended initially, with a 1-month interval in between. Top-ups and maintenance treatments can then be prescribed depending on your body’s response to treatment. Profhilo® is commonly used to treat skin laxity on areas including the face, arms, hands, neck, décolletage, and abdomen.
